Let’s have a real talk.

I’ve had so many convos lately with product-based business owners (like you) who are telling me they’re struggling to make sales, can’t seem to reach new customers, and feel like their content is falling flat.

So naturally, I ask:
“Cool, what are you currently doing to market your business?”

And I swear, half the time the answer is just Instagram.
(Deep sigh… babe, we need to talk.)

Even worse?
They’re barely posting.
Just the odd Story when they remember.
No Reels.
No carousels.
No connection.
No plan.

And if IG is your only marketing channel (which I don’t recommend—like, ever), then you better be showing up in every corner of that app like you own it.

That means:
✅ Reels
✅ Carousels
✅ Stories
✅ Lives (yes, even just a pop-in)
✅ Highlights that are actually helpful
✅ Captions that aren’t just “New in!” or “Happy Friday!”

Instagram is not dead—but lazy marketing is.
You’ve gotta stop treating it like a personal scrapbook and start treating it like a customer attraction machine.

Want to sell more from Instagram? Here’s the truth:

It’s not about more content, it’s about better strategy.
It’s knowing how to turn scrollers into fans, and fans into customers.
And it starts with clarity, consistency, and knowing how to use content that converts.

You also need to stop being afraid to repeat yourself.
Only 3–5% of your followers see any given post.

Think about it this way:
If Taylor Swift can re-release her music, turn her concerts into movies, and then post behind-the-scenes footage again and again—why can’t you?
Be more like Taylor. Reuse. Repurpose. Reinvent.

💡 Start recording B-roll of your week: packing orders, changing displays, sketching designs, whatever. That random footage? PURE REEL GOLD.

Oh and one more thing…

Social media is NOT a marketing strategy.
It’s just a tool. And your business needs more than one tool in the toolbox if you want to grow sustainably.

So—if you’re still wondering what your Instagram content should look like in 2025, I break it all down (with examples!) on the podcast this week.

🎧 Tune into the episode: “What Should Your Instagram Content Actually Look Like in 2025?”
I’ll show you how to make content that stops the scroll and drives actual sales.
